What is used

Session cookies

ImageGrid uses HTTP cookies to keep signed-in web sessions active after sign-in.

• signed-in session cookies are scoped to the relevant signed-in web surface, including the customer account area and admin surface

These cookies are used for authentication and security, not advertising.

Security cookies

ImageGrid also uses short-lived HTTP cookies to protect sensitive browser flows.

• a browser-form protection cookie is used to validate same-origin form submissions on public and signed-in browser routes
• an authentication challenge cookie is used during email verification and related account-protection checks under /app

These cookies support request integrity and account security, not advertising or cross-site tracking.

Local storage

ImageGrid stores the preferred theme value in the browser under the imagegrid-theme key so dark or light mode persists across navigation.

Third-party and billing-related flows

If you start a checkout or billing-management flow, third-party providers involved in that flow may set their own cookies or similar browser storage as part of their secure payment or session handling. For ImageGrid, this may include Stripe-managed checkout or billing surfaces.

Those third-party cookies are governed by the applicable third party's own terms, privacy notices, and cookie practices rather than this policy alone.

What is not currently used

As of this policy date, ImageGrid does not describe its product as using advertising trackers or third-party marketing cookies on the core product surface.
